British Touring Shakespeare presents

The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde

Thursday 5th September

Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological fantasy is one of the most popular novels of all time, and British Touring Shakespeare’s chilling new stage adaptation promises to be an unforgettable experience.

When the police investigation into the brutal murder of Sir Danvers Carew fails to yield anything other than the name of a suspect who seems to have disappeared, his daughter Cordelia joins forces with her late father’s lawyer Gabriel Utterson to try and uncover the truth. But where is the sinister Edward Hyde and what is his connection to Utterson’s friend Dr Henry Jekyll?

Following last year’s The Hound Of The Baskervilles, British Touring Shakespeare are very excited to bring their renowned strengths of energy, innovation and accessibility to a brand new adaptation of another classic of Victorian gothic literature.
