Hercules Productions presents

Prison Game

Thursday 28th April

“I never looked for crime. Crime looked for me.”

When prison is your world, how do you function within society?

This gripping and – at times – chilling one-man physical theatre performance tells the story of how prison can define a man. A contemporary take on the ‘kitchen sink drama’, themes stem from the socialist realism of the inner-city black communities of the UK.

Prison Game depicts the realities of working class Britain for first, second and third Windrush generations.

Hercules Productions are one of the few black-led theatre companies still thriving in the North-West, offering a full range of professional, participatory and issue-led work.
