Simon Evans presents

Potted Preview 2

Sunday 30th June

Building on the success of the last two years’ Potted Previews, BOAT Patron and Hove comedy legend* Simon Evans will be joined by Jake Lambert and Nigel Ng, two of the UK’s hottest stand-up comedy talents, all previewing their 2019 Edinburgh Festival offerings.

Guests and host alike will be trimming the hour-long fat to present just the leanest prime cuts, serving up 40 minutes each of succulent comedy goodness (vegan option available).

See them first before they face the sceptical Scots!

Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand up, after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad he decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. Jake has been incredibly busy supporting Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen and Rob Beckett on their UK tours as well as writing on Mock The Week, The Now Show, News Quiz, Virtually Famous, Bake Off: The Professionals and Chicken.

Nigel Ng is a Malaysian stand-up comedian based in London. He made his TV debut on Comedy Central’s Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central, shortly followed by Comedy Central’s Roast Battle. Tipped as ‘One to Watch’ in 2019 by Chortle, he can now be seen performing in comedy clubs all around the UK and Europe.
