Devil's Party Theatre presents

Paradise Rocks!

Saturday 28th May

A new show that reimagines John Milton’s seventeenth century epic account of the fall of Man – Paradise Lost – as a swinging, spectacular, Elvis-In-Hawaii musical from the turn of the 1960s.

Taking cues from William Blake’s assessment that Milton was ‘of the Devil’s party without knowing it’, the show tells the story of Danny Morningstar, a rebellious rock-n-roller, who finds himself at Hawaii’s Club Eden resort where Adam – the wealthy heir to Eden’s proprietor – is summering with his blushing fiancée, Eve. Can she resist the power of Rock’n’Roll, and the call of temptation in the tropical climes of protestant America’s balmiest retreat?

Directed by Lex Lake, written by Simon Indelicate and featuring the music of The Indelicates.

“Quite simply the most all round entertaining show I have had the pleasure to see… The libretto is Cole Porter quality.” Fringe Review

“Very Enjoyable… Great Fun!” Remotegoat
