Glen Richardson presents

One-Man Live Aid

Sunday 8th May

I’ve been a professional Human Jukebox for decades now, so I thought it was about time I used my powers for good to raise some cash for The Martlets hospice.

A couple of years ago, my piano/vocal request shows at the Rialto very nearly won best live music event at the Brighton Fringe. The aim of this show is to take the biggest music event in history and make it as little as humanly possible. Just me, a piano and a few special guests.

It’s a crazy, wild notion, of course. But the absurdity is the point. It’s a musical endurance test – so many songs, so many kinds of music, so many hair styles.  It’ll be very musical and inevitably comedic! How will the Phil Collins Concorde flight be replicated? Will I bang a table and swear like Bob Geldof? So many questions.Come along and find out the answers.
