Changeling Theatre presents

Love’s Labour’s Lost

Thursday 10th August
Saturday 12th August

‘We lose ourselves to keep our oaths.’

The King and three friends take an oath dedicating themselves to a life of study, avoiding the company of women for three years. No sooner have they made their vow the Princess of France and her ladies-in-waiting arrive, presenting the men with a severe test of their high-minded resolve.

Widely believed to be the prequel to Much Ado about Nothing, this early Shakespeare promises luscious costumes and a few surprises, including an original music collaboration with Kent Arts Festival, Jam on the Marsh.

Four boys and four girls in a game of love – this is Shakespeare does Bridgerton. If you loved the Netflix series, then this show is perfect for you!

Changeling Theatre produces high quality, entertaining theatre in non-traditional locations for community audiences across South East England. Productions range from re-interpretations of Shakespeare and modern classics to working with new writers and composers to create innovative new theatre. Previous shows at BOAT include 2021’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and 2022’s Othello.

Love’s Labour’s Lost is part of Changeling Theatre’s comedy double-bill with Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s The School for Scandal. Book for both shows and save 15% (discount automatically applied at checkout).
