Identity Theatre Company presents

Crucible

Written in the white heat of the McCarthy Communist purges of the 1950’s, and based on the real life persecution during the Salem witch trials of the 1600’s, The Crucible, Arthur Miller’s chilling and compelling play is about lust, lies, jealousy and politics. In an era of ‘fake news’, unfounded accusations, disinformation and media manipulation resonate strongly.

Following in the footsteps of last year’s Blue Remembered Hills, Identity Theatre promise a physical, site specific re-telling of this powerful tale with beautifully drawn characters displaying the heights of nobility and depths of duplicity.
