Battle Song

Friday 26th August
Saturday 27th August

World Première of a Family Comedy.

Jack wants to be a musician, but his father wants him to be a warrior and fight in the Battle Of Hastings. Again. Life isn’t easy in a family of role-play-addicts. In the early dawn before the battle, Jack meets Matilda and realises he’s not alone, and difficult families are nothing new.

Histrionic, hysterical historical comedy by Áine King.

Áine’s play  The Lampy  was long-listed for The Women’s Prize For Playwriting 2021 and her screenplay,  Running Out was produced by BBC Scotland / National Theatre of Scotland.
